Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Safe execution of projects and adhering to schedule requirements.
Key job responsibilities:
– Responsible for adhering and encouraging Safety, Environmental Stewardship, Integrity, Human Performance, and Leadership with all employees and customers.
– Clear understanding of project scope and means and methods to complete tasks Safely and within schedule requirements.
– Review bid packages and provide input along with participating in on-site pre-bid walkdowns.
– Ability to understand schedule, terrain, and other risks of a project.
– Manage all tasks and work with field personnel to seek alignment.
– Oversee and ensure adherence to all NERC and NESC clearance requirements.
– Coordinate receipt of material, location, and staging for crews.
– Work closely with Siting and Real Estate to identify wetlands, protected areas, and staking locations.
– Proactively notifying stakeholders when issues arise to ensure timely resolution, so project is not delayed, or additional costs are incurred.
– Clearly explaining expectations of tasks to be performed to ensure Safety and quality are maintained.

– Review work performed by crews and ensure appropriate approvals are received prior to crews mobilizing to a different work area.
– Understand resource needs to complete project tasks.
– Ensure Engineering and Project Management are notified of changes in job scope and redline prints are maintained throughout the project.
– Ensure redline prints are provided to Engineering after project commences.
– Take detailed notes of any Safety or quality issues identified and ensure management is informed in a timely manner.
– Monitor construction activities to ensure they adhere to company Engineering Standards and are built as designed.
– Ensure excess material is inventoried and returned.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or related technical field experience.
– A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
– Keeps Safety as the number one priority on the job site.
– Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are a must for this position.
– Ability to analyze situations and easily explain complex issues.
– Able to read and understand wiring diagrams, functional diagrams, single/three-line diagrams, and schematics.
– Experience with MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel are a required.
– Works well in team environment and leads by example.
– Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
